Your Data. Your Device.
Unlike cloud-based POS systems, Kosh follows a Local-First architecture. This means your business data lives on your hard drive, not on our servers. We have zero access to your sales, inventory, or customer lists.
100% Local Storage
All your transactional data—invoices, customer ledgers, and inventory counts—is stored in a secure database file directly on your computer. It never leaves your premise unless you explicitly share it.
True Privacy (Offline by Design)
Because your data isn't constantly syncing to a cloud server, there is zero risk of a "data breach" on our end exposing your customer info. Even if our servers go down, your business keeps running.
What We Do Track
Our servers only store your License Key and Hardware ID to prevent software piracy. We process payments via Razorpay (PCI-DSS compliant), so we never see or store your credit card numbers.
You Own Your Backups
Since data is local, backups are your responsibility. Kosh includes tools to auto-backup your database to a local folder or your personal Google Drive, putting you in complete control of your disaster recovery.
