Terms of Service

Important Notice

Kosh is a Local-First software. You are solely responsible for backing up your data. We do not store a copy of your inventory or sales ledger on our servers.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Kosh Desktop Application ("Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Software.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, Kosh Platform grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software.

  • Node Locking: Your license key is tied to the unique Hardware ID of the computer where it is first activated.
  • Single Device Policy: Unless you purchased a multi-device plan, one license key is valid for one device only.
  • Transferability: Licenses are non-transferable between different business entities but may be transferred to a new device owned by the same entity upon request to support (limited to once per year).

3. User Responsibilities

  • Data Backups: Since Kosh stores data locally on your hard drive, you are responsible for maintaining regular backups to prevent data loss due to hardware failure.
  • System Security: You are responsible for keeping your operating system free of viruses and malware that could compromise the Software.
  • Account Credentials: You must keep your login credentials and license keys confidential.

4. Subscription & Payments

Kosh operates on a subscription model (Monthly/Yearly).

  • Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Price Changes: We reserve the right to adjust pricing for future billing cycles with at least 30 days' notice.
  • Refunds: Please refer to our Refund Policy.

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software.
  • Share your license key publicly or with unauthorized third parties.
  • Use the Software for any illegal activities or to evade taxes.
  • Modify the internal database structure outside of the application interface.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Software is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind. In no event shall Kosh Platform be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business interruption, arising out of the use or inability to use the Software.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
